In this rapidly evolving digital economy, businesses need highly trained innovative individuals to keep up with the pace of the international business world. This BA (Hons) Business Management is an undergraduate top-up degree programme that covers key aspects of business and management practice and theory with particular emphasis on the development of individual and group skills. The programme is covering a wide range of subject areas including management and leadership, team development, business operations, risk management, emerging digital trends, business psychology, marketing and financial awareness. 

The qualification has three stages, each comprising 120 credits. The first two stages included an Undergraduate Level 4/5 Diploma in Business Management is a 240 credit course designed to progress to the third stage final year of an Undergraduate BA (Hons) in Business and Management, which can either be completed on campus or via distance learning. The course is made up of 6 Level 4 compulsory modules (120 credits) and 6 Level 5 compulsory modules (120 credits). If students decide to only study at level 4, they will only receive 120 credits and can get an exemption from year 1 of a UK undergraduate degree.  

Each module consists of 100 guided learning hours of study with an additional 100 hours’ worth of optional study which comprises of recommended exercises, recommended readings, work-based learning, live webinar, e-learning, competency-based assessment, assignments, and internet resources. Successful completion of the full Level 4/5 Diploma in Business Management and final year of an accredited Undergraduate Degree programme, will give students the right credentials to go on and apply for a job as a Human Resource Consultant, Business Development Manager, Marketing/Brand Manager, Business Analyst or Recruitment Consultant.

This programme is designed for and with both learners and employers in mind. You can study the final year top-up degree in BSc (Hons) Business and Management at the following UK universities if you already hold a Level 4 and Level 5 Diploma in Business Management. Admissions are subject to interviews and university entry requirements.

Entry Requirements Applicant must possess the following for entry into Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Business Management

  1. The applicant must be 18 years or older at the start of the course. 
  2. Must have achieved a recognised UK or overseas qualification (equivalent) 
  3. Must have completed 12 years of education. If completed 10 years of education then at least demonstrate a Level 3 qualification with minimum 'C' or 'Pass' grades in Mathematics and English. 
  4. Provide relevant Local Board of Examination results from the home country, which must include at least 'C' Grade in English and 4 other subjects. 
  5. Mock Examination Result can also be accepted for initial Conditional Admission, pending the release of the Board of Examination Result. (This will be assessed on a case by case basis.) 
  6. Mature Learners (21 years or older) with work experience in management or supervisory roles.
    (This will also be assessed on a case by case basis.) 

Applicants will also be required to complete the following: 
  1. Provide a CV and Personal Statement 
  2. Provide a copy of original qualification certificates and proof of ID, e.g. Passport 
  3. Applicants will also be invited to attend an online interview 

English Language Requirements 
If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country then s/he must provide evidence of English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 5.5. We also accept other standard English tests and qualifications, as long as they meet the minimum requirements of your course. If a learner doesn't meet the English language requirements then s/he can achieve the required level by successfully completing a pre-sessional English course before starting the main course. 

To complete the course, students should have access to: 
  1.  a laptop or Desktop PC with relevant online learning third-party Softwares, e.g. Zoom 
  2.  a webcam and headphones 
  3.  internet speeds with a minimum bandwidth of 600kbps (up/down), with a recommended speed of 1.5 Mbps (up/down)
